How to get more website traffic – client testimonials is one great idea

Getting testimonials from clients is a tricky thing. People are so busy these days that once a commercial photography shoot has been completed, bills paid and all loose ends tied up, everyone has by then moved on to other things.

This is entirely normal in business. Unfortunate but true, but then again a commercial photography shoot isn’t about me is it?

Of course not – it is about the client, and what they do with the images they have paid for. What the images do for them.

I try to get client tesimonials. I place them on my Google page, and have just added a testimonials page on my website. I have not done this before, and keep asking myself the same question – why not?

What have I been thinking? Testimonials/ reviews are a great way for potential clients to get reassurance from other clients. Third parties providing independent opinions.

I particularly value client reviews on Google – to be honest I can put anything on my website but I can’t touch reviews put on by others on Google.

I can respond to reviews, which I did not evern realise, and will do right now for the four 5 star reviews I have on my google page.

I am also going to try to get more reviews on Google – these reviews are so valuable for me in my attempts to conquer the internet!

Get reviews from clients as soon as you can and use them – get them on Google and put them on your website – they cost nothing other than the kindness of clients and will help you get more website traffic.
