Another rule. Golden Light. Sunset time. This is when you get those lovely warm colours, such as in this shot of a disused jetty in Poole Harbour with Brownsea Island in the background.
There are those who say you should not shoot at any time other than sunrise and sunset. That is the time before, during and after sunrise/ sunset.
Now fine as this is, it is hardly practical for commercial working photographers who have to shoot during the day, even the forbidden time around noon! You have to be creative with your technique, and placement. It is of course possible to get great results in daylight hours, and not every image is a jaw dropping sunrise or sunset.
I will post, and indeed delaibarately shoot, some noon shots to prove the point.
