So the starting point for this image is the RAW file.
This shot was taken just as the sun was disappearing behind the building, gving that balance of natural and artificial light.
I love to shoot at this time of day!
So there are a few issues with this scene. Well I need to start by saying that I took this shot from the top of my stepladders. I wanted to be level with the middle of the building. This made this quite a technical exercise as I wanted my bracketed set. So out came the Manfrotto Magic Arm, clamped to the top of my stepladders, giving me exactly the view you see.
There are issues in the foreground which I need to attend to. Tomorrow I will post the original edited version of this shot that was issued to the client, along with an explanation of the technical side of the capture and image processing, so please call back to my blog tomorrow at www.rickmcevoyphotography.co.uk/blog to read about the development of this RAW capture into an architectural photography portfolio image.
