Architectural photography in Dorset on location!
This is where I was yesterday.
Photographing a fantastic new private residential development in Poole, Dorset.
I have two favourite things to photograph. One is buildings. The ohere is landscapes.
I am an architectural photographer.
This is what I specialise in. This is the commercial photography space I thrive in. Having spent a lifetime in the construction industry this is where my expertise lies.
Landscspe photography is the place I experiment.
When you hire me for your architectural photography assignment in Dorset you are getting both my construction and my photographic expertise.
And me. I take the photos. I select the picks. I edit them. I send them to you. No-one else. You deal with me.
So back to the image in this post.
I photograph houses for sale for online estate agents. Good work and all fine.
But I also get to photograph completed buildings for architects. And sometimes I get to photograph special new buildings, such as this one.
This view on the back of my Canon 6D was one of the rooms on the lower level of three. In the context of the building nothing special.
Not at all.
The combination of natural light from the back with the lights in the room was awesome.
As I said this is not a room of significance in the new building.
But still was a great space. A great space to photograph. Really clever design.
And don't start me on the chandelier. I will write about that for days and days. Once issued to the client that is.
That's all about yesterday's shoot for now. I will post more about this fantastic construction development in Poole once images have been issued to the client.
Thanks for reading this post, and I hope you enjoyed this insight into my architectural photography work. Pop back to my blog tomorrow at http://www.rickmcevoyphotography.co.uk/blog for something completely different
