Another of my 12 best photos of Hampshire, a picture of Bracklesham Bay Beach in Hampshire at sunset.
I checked my Lightroom catalogue. I was surprised to find I had about 5,000 pictures which fell under my photos Hampshire folders.
Blimey. That's a lot of photos!
No wonder picking 12 took so long!
And two images taken at the same time at the same place make my top 12!
So yes. Same location, same exposure, different viewpoint. I framed this shot to make the timber groyne lead your eye in the same direction as the dramatic sky. I like both images taken at this location, only 6 minutes apart, this image being captured at 7:31pm to be precise. I love the colours, the flat water, the calmness and the glowing feeling of this lovely sunset image.
Captured on my Canon EOS 5D with Canon 17-40mm lens on my old tripod!
Taken some time ago but the composition is good and the lighting fantastic so an image which has stood the test of time. It is nice to see that some of my old photography work is good - whilst my photography is improving massively there was some good stuff there to start with.
Tomorrow on my blog at http://www.rickmcevoyphotography.co.uk/blog more new Hampshire Photography
