I was saving my black and white portfolio images to post separately, but this image works so well in black and white I want to share it with you the same day as the colour image.
You can read all about the colour version of this image in my 11am blog post.
This is the editing process to create this black and and white version of the image in Nik Solver Efex Pro.
This is one of those times when I knew what I was looking for when I started working on the portfolio image.
I knew the black and white image would work really well.
Firstly I browsed the presets, and there were quite a few effects I liked.
I went with low key 1. It looked the best.
Next I tried the filters, choosing the green filter.
Then added even more vignette, lens fall off 1
Fintally I increased the dynamic brightness to 45%.
There is a definite trend developing here with my black and white interior photography!
Make sure you call back to my blog tomorrow at 11 for another portfolio image.
