I am back in the swing of my colour/ black and white processing now. This is the black and white picture of the image I posted yesterday.
I like this black and white version of the scene. It reminds me more of the scene and the mood and the feel than the colour image.
But before I go any further I would like to tell you all how I produced this black and white landscape photography image using Nik Silver Efex Pro.
The preset I chose for this image was the same as for the previous black and white edits.
Fine Art Process. Well I actually typed Dine Art Process. Glad I spotted that one!
Lens Falloff 1
Green filter. This really gives the tones a lift, and helps create some depth and body in landscape photography images.
The brightness adjustment will vary from image to image in this series. For this image the adjustments I made were
- Overall Brightness -21%
- Dynamic Brightness +15%
And that is all I did using my favourite black and white Lightroom plug-in, Nik Silver Efex Pro.
All this black and white landscape photography work has prompted me to produce a brand new black and white landscape photography page on my website. And I really have created it whilst writing this post. Today. Check out the link above and you can get to the page on my Squarespace website.
And now I have done this I can start to build a collection of black and white landscape photography work, which I am looking forward to doing.
