Altea. Spain. Tight streets with white painted buildings.
My kind of thing!
I took this shot with my iPhone 7 Plus, trying to capture the white buildings, the street lights, the narrow paved roads, the silhouette of the church and the blue pre sunrise sky.
The iPhone 7 did a pretty good job of all of this - this is straight off my phone with no processing at all.
I set myself a challenge on this trip - I was trying to get 12 pictures of Altea. No more. And there were a small number of subjects that I wanted to capture.
- The church on the hill.
- The interior of the church.
- The famous blue domed church roofs.
- The narrow roads with white painted walls, in various lighting conditions.
- Light and the narrow roads.
- Sunrise views of the rocky coastline.
I excluded the sunset, as that took place over the mountains way off in the background.
The point being.......
To achieve this lofty goal I spent quite a lot of time walking around not taking photos - just taking things in.
This is how I like to work. Get to a place and see it with my own eyes.
If you remember my footwear faux pas 12 months ago in Santorini I am afraid to report I made a similar error this time! I wore Fit Flops on the first recce walk with Mrs M, and suffered some nasty rubs after - only because I had not worn them for 6 months or so!
At least I took my walking shoes this time, which I wore after that!
Time to download the photos to my PC!.
