The first of my photos of 2017 - me in my own architectural photography shot!

This is the first picture in my 2017 Lightroom Collection. Not sure why it is the first picture as it was taken in July but no matter I will carry on with the story of this picture.

Basically the problem was this. I was photographing the paving at a new leisure centre for the supplier of tha paving you can see made by Tobermore

I needed people in the shot. But there weren’t any people around.

Not for this view which I needed. 

So I set the self-timer on my Canon 6D to 10 seconds and included myself in this shot. I know - unpaid modelling. Not that anyone would pay me to model for them.

The point of this post is this - when you are working as a commercial photographer you have to be able to adapt to the situation and get the client the shots they want. 

When I am doing repeat work for Tobermore I wear different clothes so I do not always look the same.
