This morning I used the spot removal tool in Lightroom for the first time in ages

Sunrise view looking towards Calp from Cap Negret, Spain.

Lightroom had become so slow that I had almost become accustomed to doing spot removal in Photoshop.

But this morning, following the recent improvements to the performance of Lightroom Classic 7.3, I went back to try it again.

And it was absolutely fine. Just like it used to be, back in the day when we all loved Lightroom.

Which is great news for me - Lightroom is back!

And I have just ordered 16GB of RAM from Crucial which I will report on next week once I have fitted it - if I still have a working computer that is!

And the edit of this image was done entirely in Lightroom - no Photoshop required, which is great. I love Photoshop - it is a fantastic bit of very powerful software, but the day Lightroom does all I need to an image is a good day.

This is the first image to be edited from my recent trip to Altea, and will be featuring in my travel photographer page which I am working on right now.
