I love this shot taken at the foot of Evening Hill, Poole, Dorset.

I like this shot. I love the warm sunset colours, the calmness and tranquility of the water, and the depth and content provided by the wall and the jetty leading the eye to Brownsea Island in the background on the horizon.

This is a single hand held shot taken on my 6D. Processing was done entirely in Lightroom.

I could have gone into Photoshopnto to remove the area of black in the water, but chose to keep it in the shot as it was there. 

i will return to reshoot this scene and see how the new Lightroom cc HDR merge feature performs. I hope to get more detail in the shadows using this technique.
