In this post I am going to ignore all that boring technical stuff and talk about the image and why I absolutely love it.

Photography should be all about the images, what they convey, how they make you as the person looking at the image feel. 

Photographers care (too much) about all that technical stuff. Photographers need to remember one thing. 

No-one else does! 

Most normal people like a photo because they like it. That’s all. 

They really don’t care what the F stop or shutter speed was, if the image is noisy or not. Just if they like what they see. 

Of course we as photographers cannot ignore all that technical stuff. But that is not what it is all about. The technical stuff is the stuff you use to get to the end. 

The image. 

So, why do I love this image?  I am a landscape photographer. I love landscapes.

I feel the sunset. 

I feel the calmness of the water. 

i feel the beach location. 

I love my composition. 

I love the colours. 

I love the mood.

 

And that is what photography is all about in my opinion.
